ColoByTheU is a dedicated division of Daily Data, founded in 1993. For over three decades, we have served as the “IT Department” for small and medium businesses in Dallas, Texas.

Founded in the Lakewood area of East Dallas, Daily Data began as the “IT Department for small businesses.” Over the last 30+ years, we realized that small businesses were being pushed out of data centers by skyrocketing prices and massive rack minimums. We built Colo By The U to solve that problem: providing enterprise-grade single-server colocation without the enterprise-grade price tag.

Our Infrastructure: The H5 Advantage

H5 Data Centers We operate out of the H5 Data Centers facility in North Dallas (Plano), a 240,000 sq. ft. carrier-neutral fortress designed for enterprise resilience.

• Power: N+1 UPS and N+1 Diesel Generator redundancy.

• Cooling: 2N chilled water cooling system.

• Security: 24/7 on-site security, biometric scanners, and mantrap entries.

Why Not Go Direct? H5 Data Centers is a wholesale provider, typically requiring full-cage commitments. In fact, H5 refers their single-server inquiries directly to us. We are the bridge that gives you access to their wholesale-grade infrastructure without the wholesale barrier to entry.
